How do you regard the balancing Yang nature to the Tao, (also pronounced as Dhow, correct?). As the Tao is dynamic[I realize that a "dhow" is a chinese coastal trading ship, as a material known-noun, nuh?] Insofar as granite is simple coherent energy flowing at a profoundly lower frequency, it is also Dhow. Is it therefore simply opposite to measurable Light Speed? Surely, it goes beyond diametric opposition in balance or friction/tension. I embrace the sense of variable intensity frequency-as- material/elemental aspects of the physical world as 'Maya' & Illusion, (in that it is recognized at the expense of totally ignoring the even higher frequencies we inhabit/ed prior to and post- incarnation). Furthermore, and lastly, the attuned Soul, (for a word/concept), may speak/emanate a "word/concept" and effect the material universe by tuning its vibration to a desired frequency/expression. Ergo, if I focus intensely upon another Personage and visualize their being healed, I shall not wait for confirmation but just assume it is being accomplished, with no further attention required from me, (as it would be doubt/interference disrupting the projected frequency matrix). Words also flow, as they are the voidless void, the fullness of emptiness, the brilliance of space/time. "T" White Bear -------------------------------- "taotiger" Re: hi "T", see any picture of 'Taichi' (yin-yang symbol) for the answer. most people when they look, see the Yin, and they see the Yang. yet, every Taichi symbol (as representation of all on every level of existence [and more and less]) is bounded by the circle - this is hidden to modern reading generally. the circle is the Wuchi, the Wu, the undifferentiated "chi [energy]" of the Way/Tao, the Mystic. thus granite or lightspeed, or whatever, is all Wu. the circle, the Tao, the Wu, is a symbol of at once "Transcendence and Imminence". all Yin, of which there is none ever but associated with Yang in the manifest realm, is thus Wu/Tao, and so too all Yin.. granite, as is every-thing (gross and subtle), a combination of Yin and Yang, with no opposite - slightly more comprehensively as Wu, and totality of realisation as living of the experiencing of it as all of the above. all manifestation is unique, and being unique occuring as it seems to be as it is experienced, has no counterpart as "opposite" in either your mind as your experience or as component of the artifice of theorised objectivity. this Maya is not in opposition to 'even higher frequencies' since even higher frequencies are Maya, but is as it seems to be, is Maya when interpreted by mind as not-Tao. as Tao, Maya is Maya, and Maya is Tao, so Maya is Tao. and all this is words. the Divine Grace which is mentioned earlier is akin to Te, the "Active and Natural Spontaneous Experience" of Maya as Tao. Yin and Yang are Maya, yet Tao. Wu is Tao, as is Te. Taichi in fullness is Tao, yet Te. and yes, this what is known as "sympathetic magic" of exacting change in the macrocosm by at once exacting such change in the microcosm and charging the link between above and below by Reaslising erergically the unity of both, is rainmaking distance healing whatever else. though, the practice of such as contrived will rebound on the practitioner, wheras the practice coming spontaneously as a natural expression of the harmony of Te, will be as it is, and not remarkable. it is not advisable to practice "healing" or any other Powerful [which is essentially the suggestion] interference with the natural expression of Tao as manifestation, without complete integration of [seeming] This and [seeming] Other, which is naturally already growing [Te-ing] in that way. that is, honouring in action the total spontaneity of Taichi as Te, any contrivance with Intention is Black Magic, is 'practical' Fascism, is Maya, while action in accordance with Te is the Natural interaction of components that have affinity, like a chemical reaction where the meeting and joining is enough, without one chemical intentionally seeking to affect the other and remain aloof. ...when practiced out of harmony, as not-Te [= Maya], then while it is still Tao technically, the effect on the practitioner is to be effected like the chemical-who-thinks-he's-not-there, though the effect is hidden, and will manifest, like any repressed attribute, in a way that is unpredictable [ie. as the black-faced goddess Kali, as anarchy with no preference for you or your intention to 'heal'], to the degree that the black-tivity exacts change in the macrocosm - ie. here is a case where an illness is cured at distance, yet the healer, not discharging the energy into the fathomless Tao, manifests symptoms either identical or of equivalent energic disposition, the "energy" of the illness not integrated into the Whole/Wu through Te, which is well able to direct it into channels in accord with the non-intention-intention [of, say, *Spontaneous Healing as expression of Grace/Te*, as opposed to *Me Healing You*], but shifting merely from one site of infection to another, even across interpersonal barriers, into local animals or nearby people, whatever nothing extraordinary about this. ie. "You" do not heal, otherwise Karmic rebound/displacement occurs. "if I focus" is the operative danger signal - healing happens... the word used "desire" is also a screaming warning that as result, the macrocosm is going to be "wanting" it's payment from you in return, so beware and listen to the Buddha fella to undercome this "desirousness" in a field that allows no mistakes (he says, from hard-knocks 'personal' experience). ...it will happen appropriately only insofar as the arising of healing is in accord with Tao, as Te. and anyway, it is surely always "appropriate" as Tao, which whatever it seems to be, always is this, though if healing is the intention, and with the order of magnitude of power /chi/energy that you are proposing, then you sure as Maya do not want to put yourself in the way of a Karmic realignment with you as the counterweight. moral to take home is simple. Go With The Flow, and just let it be... forget healing and Black magics unless you would like death for you and others near and dear, and wanton destruction of the environment. if it happens, it happens without Intention, as product of the Silent workings of Te. get on with doing the dishes, weeding the garden, sitting in the sun or walking in a park.. go to work, whatever... if you are a healer, then it is the Left or Right path - if it is one, then no use trying to heal because all that will be accomplished is to move around the various energies some, and wind up shifting the problem from one place to another, healing some and sickening others. and if it is the other, then it is *not* healing you oughta be practicing to realise your stated goal, but Tao and no other, by any other name. cheers. ---------------------------------- "T" Re: The woo of the Wu. Ah! The resonance so compounded is humbling. I have difficulty in releasing my 'ego'-attachment to visualizing and expecting positive outcomes, (inasmuch as they're so personally perceived), then, I suppose. If I retreat from projecting intention, then, what would be an appropriate mantra, (so to speak), to subconsciously/consciously nurture to avoid interference with the organic balance of Tai Chi? Or, is the pretense of such inherently countervalent to such a dynamism by introducing stasis, however transient? Through conditioning I rely upon an ephemeral concept as the Divine Uncreated (Wu) is perceivable/palpable in Divine (Holy) Spirit as Yin which was/is/always manifested in the avatar of the Christ. How can I reconcile this, aside from what seems to require total surrender of individual Consciousness as Agency to that of being a disinterested observer? Have I absorbed any vital understanding here? Namaste'. "T" White Bear -------------------------------------- "taotiger" Re: The woot of the woot. ^^ ego-attachment is not the bugbear for mystics as it seems. as much as ego is lived as the *shooting star* in terms of "notional persistence" despite "actual transience" and instability, and Tao (Aum/God/Allah/etc.) is unrecognised as the essential and substantial uniting principle of the ever-present Integral Way (to borrow a term), then most of the drama is backstage. that is, while Attention is on "i will...", the corresponding and mutually unfolding "thy will..." is unseen. however, Tao does -not- exclude mine or yours, and so positivism plays a part if that is your natural temperament. though, while Tao as Wu may be eternal, this co-existent subset of Wu as Taichi always in simultaneous coming/staying/going includes *complementarity* as nature of manifestation. Excess emphasis on Wu exacts simultaneously the price of polar tension = Taichi. Excess personal Yin (passivity/down/in/negativity/femineness) arises in conjunction with corresponding degree of extra-personal Yang (activity/up/out/positivity/masculineness). and vice versa in the situation described. wheras... excessively *realising* Tao is simply an abundance of harmony and naturalness, and no excess at all. though harmony is not all that positive as it sounds - in practice is all things - the harmony of love and hate (yin and yang) is Tao, the harmony of activity and passivity, of peace and conflict, of life and death, of happiness and sadness, all Tao. still, moving, in synchrony as Tao inner and outer in harmony, acknowledging the harmony in action, "Cultivating Tao", allows for ego-involvement as a very real component of the functional whole. ...to supress ego is akin to the cat 'playing possum'. but let's not call it ego, since this word is a product of an early and dubious translation of Freud, an error which has naturally grown out of neglect in further renderings of modern psychologies - actually, when you read Freud, substituting "I" every time the word "ego" comes up is very much closer to the intention. and so, "killing I" is not going to further any real-world aspirations that you express as part of who you are naturally. in fact, it leads only to the *pen-ultimate* stage in practice of Nirvana (cessation), the way of the Self-realisers - the Theravada goal in Buddhist life. which is one remove from the ongoing goal-less goal of the Mahayana/Zen/Tao way as the *Expression* in manifestation of Nirvana, the living of it *as* the very sacrifice that Christ advocates, as Loving, opposed to (yet hand-in-hand with) selfish attainment through "I" extinction in exchange for the supreme bliss of Nothingness. that is, as Conceptual the circle is wondrous and complete, yet we are human also however much we are Tao and Buddha, so naturally the Rainbow matrix appeals to what we are in our very hearts - "if you meet a Buddha on the road, kill him" is the Zen proverb, and so we do not become attached to this Buddha-nature. now, relinquishing our grasp of the pot-o-gold, the rainbow returns and yes, "I" am involved, heeding the most authentic callings of who we are, for participation in the colour of all this. in fact, "the meek and the poor" who shall blah blah, are those who have returned the gold to its rightful place as common property, and thus may share with the whole of manifestation in the Enjoyment, just as one name for Avatars in India is "Bogha" (Enjoyer). so too, in answer to the meaty-bit of your question, to Give Away the Christ, as he himself did, is to Return to the Source and the source is the "Special Sauce" of Love, since by dying to your Self and continually returning the treasure of Christ-nature to the Uncreate Natural, the Christ is Eternally Reborn as the colours of Life. the Christ-nature is co-existent with Tao, yet to always give away the 'hard and white' is to fertilise the garden with the golden blood of renewal. 'deep six' the most Precious notions of God and Tao and Christ and Enlightmentment and Perfection and Bliss and Goodness and and the Seven hues of the inner unManifest will arise afresh as the waters of life - the cloudwinds meeting the mountains in the sun as rainbow-snake dreaming... "I" am interested. and "you" are interested, obviously... :) there is no harm in that - we are "All" interested, since it's so damn Interesting! so why should we feign disinterest....? absorbing vital understanding... ...the white bEar with black Eye seeing colour without, within... ...expressing vitality _/\_ -------------------------------------------------- "T" Re: Wu-woo, woot-woot, who-who. Therefore, I am what Iamb. Still, I rest on this perch of mine own devisement (illusion): I am only that which (i) will to become/am becoming, in the non-static/non-linear reality of the Moment? The iamb pair, (dit-Dah), gallops along nicely for me, my horsey poem riding me into the sunset/rise. i am a molecule of gold in an endless sea, a singularity of, and at once, the totality. i embrace/release mortality becoming infinitely a living word repeated once, ceaslessly, inaudibly yet as clearly as dawn's birdsongs rippling in coolbreezy leaves fluttering above the sunmoon-silvered serenity of rain creek-flowing to the ebbing/rising sea. i am, and yet not, my grief, my joy. i am man, woman, baby girl, baby boy, a simultaneous family of many-in-one defined in such relation: still, also the absence thereof. i am avatar and desolate plain, core of the Earth and constellation, too. i am God dreaming, yet awake in my sleep. let it be said when "i" am dead that, truly, i have always lived reborn evermore into continuum. as the Sun tugs vapor to cloud then rain i have always been only to come again to Gaia's suckling breast, to be the noble beast shape-shifting through all imaginable manifestation. i journey to arrive that which i have left. i am, we are, a mobile destination.
