A Clockwork Orange
Anthony Burgess

Now don’t get me wrong, the film was awesome, but if you haven’t read the book, now's the best time to kopat this choodessny sneety. For it is sneety. No other word will do, and if a little ultraviolence gets you going, it’s helpful to know the outcome of falling into the wrong rooks. Set in a not too distant or unlikely future, Alex wends his way from incident to accident, upturning society all in the name of kicks - but watch out when the dog bites back… It’s short. It’s disturbingly sharp. And there will be blood spilled - however don’t cry over the moloko when you start to feel for the perpetrator. It just goes to show, no matter what you do, Big Brother can unleash more carnage on a mind than all of your droogs put together - and with the ‘best’ intentions! A horrorshow biblio of astounding foresight and frightening acuity - a past future presented in full technicolour, with emphasis on the red.
